Shame, fear and the feeling that we are not good enough continues to trip us up.  People who have a strong sense of love and belonging have one variable in common, that is feeling a sense of worthiness.  Those that have a strong sense of worthiness have the Courage to be imperfect, Compassion to be kind to self and to others, and a Connection as a result of authenticity.  Vulnerability in life is a necessary component to truly achieving joy, happiness, connectedness and wholehearted living.</p>

<p>According to Angela Lee Duckworth, Grit is passion and perseverance toward for very long term goals. One key is developing a “growth mindset”, which is the belief that we all have the ability to learn new things, and grow and change through our entire life. We must continue to explore our passions, and develop the discipline, flexibility, and perseverance to “fail forward”, and try again.</p>
